The Baby born tonight

Is our most glorious King,

So let us with delight

Our warmest praises sing.

 

The Baby born today

Has for our sakes come down,

So let us go and say,

‘Lord, take us for Thine own!’

 

The Baby manger-laid,

Is holy, pure and good,

Of wrong we’re unafraid

With him in our childhood.

 

We lift our eyes to Thee;

To Thee our hearts we raise;

O Jesus, make us free

To serve Thee all our days.
